Full title "Alphonse Fredrick in a Dangerous World"

a couple of character I've been noodling about with for a while. The top image are the two main characters and the second is just a little doodle that seemed to really show their characters.

Alphonse Fredrick:

A poor boy who seems to be a magnet for dangerous things. Not even a hypothermic, environmentally sealed room could keep him safe. So his parents, under much sedation, sent him to stay with his cousin's family. Things only seem to get worse for poor Alphonse. Now not only does he have to deal with bacterium and possible concussions from falling drapery, he also keeps getting into situations with ogres, demon bulls, mantacores and other, very dangerous things.

Cousin (as of yet, unnamed):

Everything Alphonse is, she isn't. She loves the fact that her cousin keeps bringing these "adventures" to her door. From a flock of migrating dragons, to vampire gnomes taking up residence in their bathroom, everyday is exciting.

.... It took me a while to remember this one. Yeees, you talked about it briefly quite a while ago. But the kid's name was Irving at first, wasn't it?

Heheh. This is wonderful--original and so charmingly storybook-like. It does seem as though there's no way to predict your style anymore. You can do pretty much anything, it seems.

Yeah, it was Irving Little. Do you have IM conversations automatically saved in the archives? You talked about this story on January 2nd (it was bugging me that I couldn't quite remember exactly when I heard this one, so I looked it up

Ha ha. No, I don't think it does. But was that his name, wow. We shall have to see what name wins out. I like the name Riley though, maybe his cousin shall be christened that.

You must have randomly thought up "Irving" as you were telling me the story.

If you want to save IM messages, though, you look at the main Messenger box, go to "contacts," then "message archives," then "messages," then "preferences," and at the top and a bit to the right, you should see some options for how to save conversations. I've been savin' 'em since September 26th. I wish I'd known about it earlier, though.

I like the name Riley, too, and I think it may very well work for the cousin. Hmmm.

Great character designs and even greater concept, really like the story behind the characters, migrating dragons and vampire gnomes, doesn't get much better than that lol, i hope you're planning on going further with this
