I haven't updated in a bit, but I haven't been very happy with my latest illustrations for class. Here is my last assignment for synergism class. I think this is the direction I'm going to take for my senior thesis.
Wow! This is beautiful, Reed! I love your whimsical art, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
This reminds me of my much younger self following my dad around the hardware store. But the genders would be reversed from your picture. I remember wanting to make a fort way up high in the ceiling-high stacks of 2x4's. heehee.

Dear Math, Grow up and solve your own problems.
I remember imagining at the hardware store that the tools were animals and what parts would move. Like the tables having legs and the weed wackers would fly around like flamingos, etc.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't still imagine/daydream in stores, car rides, and during breaks at work. The trick is to not be as obvious about it as you were when you were little; no adding your own sound effects or drawing on walls ...And maybe try to avoid it while you're the one driving the car! Haha!

The birds are upside down, but you already knew that. 8D
This brings me back to the times when I always was loud while playing in church. It was the last time I actually saw something from my imagination that wasn't in a dream. ....
